Sunrise Shot

The opening of our video is probably the most important part because it's the first thing the audience sees. We've had loads of ideas about what shots to use ranging from urban city shots to rural landscape shots. However, the idea we liked the most was a time lapse of a sunrise. So before the crack of dawn Kelly woke up and watched the sunrise over Edmonton- filming every second of it. In the editing stages the footage looks brilliant! You can really see the wide range of vivid colours in the sky that look even better when sped up to show the entire sunrise:
