Lip sync practice

Although our music video is dominantly narrative, there is one lip syncing element. We have kindly asked an amateur actor, Ertan, to play an army official in our music video. His role is to discipline the protagonist after she has joined the army. In the video he sings the lyrics, "look me in the eye when I'm talking to you"- we have chosen to show a very literal representation of these lyrics.

Here, we've used the rule of thirds to place each of the characters on both edges of the grid. By doing so, the audience is focused on both aspects of the frame.
We were trying to figure out the best way to make the shouting look effective. An angry face lip syncing/shouting? Or actually shouting? Ertan took the approach of pretending this was a screamo video, causing us both to burst out into laughter.
